BuildSpec basic listings are FREE to any Product Importer, Distributor or Manufacturer for products sold within Nigeria.
Subject only to the manufacturer/supplier maintaining the accuracy and currency of product descriptions and company contact details.

Paid listings

BuildSpec also allows you to list your products using our on-line registration portal. This allows you to incorporate a vast amount of information on your listing, including:

links to multiple images, documents, technical data, Compliance and Testing Documentation, videos.
BuildSpec is developing an on-line specification writing tool, geared to local industry conditions. This information is in increasing demand with the specifying fraternity
There is no limit to the number of products you can list however you are required to keep product information, links and documentation up to date.
Product technical Datasheets comprising the following
A product technical sheet for each product covered by the service agreement, based on a standard template and comprising:
- Product name
- Product description
- Design guidelines
- Any product certificates
- A picture gallery
- Environmental compliance notes
- Performance statement
  - Scope
  - Building Code
  - Certificates
  - Special conditions
    - Installation requirements
    - Special requirements
    - Maintenance requirements
- Validation date and date last updated

BuildSpec is a digital showroom and database of technical information which gives architects, designers, specifiers, construction industry professionals and the public twenty-four seven on-line access to a comprehensive database of building products.

BuildSpec is free to browse and basic listings are free to any manufacturer or distributor to showcase their products. Further advantages may be gained via paid access to specification information, listings of product brochures, technical information and specifications and advertising products on the BuildSpec landing page.

The BuildSpec website features comprehensive listings of product and product data from a comprehensive and growing list of leading manufacturers and suppliers. On the Home page there are powerful intelligent search tools, with products searchable by type, name or manufacturer. Behind the scenes, products are referenced to an indexing code, based on international standards to enable future easy on-line building of specifications and links to BIM on CAD software.
